Primary 6 and 7 were very pleased to be among the first to read Declan Carville’s new book, “Rhythm of the night” and had a wonderful day working through the book and embarking on a writing workshop with a real life author. The children got to discuss the writing process and see first sketches of illustrations from some of Declan’s books. We worked together to storyboard ideas and discuss the creative process of writing. It was a fantastic day and the children felt very inspired by Declan’s talents.
