World Book Day 2024

Today, we enjoyed a range of activities for World Book Day. We started our day with a whole school assembly parading in our wonderful costumes and comfy clothes with our favourite reading books in hand. Mrs.Graham read a lovely story to us all and then Mrs.McKee led an active story, where we followed our friend Corey on an adventure, climbing, jumping, swinging and swimming through the narrative. 

The book fun didn't end there... we had book-swaps, book drops, book quizzes and character fun. Some had juice and biscuits, hot chocolates or squares of chocolate... It was a wonderful celebration for World Book Day. 

We thank all the parents and children for their efforts with costumes, and comfy clothes choices, for donating books for the book-swap and for joining in with all the reading activities today. World Book Day was a great success. :)
