What a fabulous day P4/5 had at the Navan Centre learning all about The Vikings. We got to take on the role of scribes and had a go at writing using a quill and ink, then we met a Viking warrior who told us about why he attacked other countries and showed us the weapons he would use. We then took part in a workshop where we shared our knowledge on other jobs the Vikings did and learned more about the longships. It was a fun, educational day and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
