This year P1 took part in “The Big School Birdwatch” We prepared our hide by using camouflage sheeting so that the birds could not see us and made ourselves comfortable with our identification sheets after leaving some tasty treats for the birds.
We were able to spot lots of our regular starling friends as well as some robins that join us daily during our outside play lessons. We also saw blackbirds, crows, sparrows, some lovely colourful blue tits as well as a magpie, pigeons and some noisy seagulls. All in all we were able to identify quite a few birds and had a lovely time in our garden in the hide we had created.
