P1 and 2 were delighted to add the new worms that Mrs McIlroy kindly brought in for our school wormery. First we had to remove the old flowers and dig down a little. Then we spread the worms out and covered them with the soil we had removed. We added some fruit and shredded paper for the worms to eat. When the weather improves we will plant some flowers on the top as our soil will be enriched with our industrious worms. Everyone was really interested and amazed by seeing so many worms together and we will remember to feed them each week. Thank you P1 and 2 for completing such an important eco job.
