Today we were using numicon. It was excellent to see how quickly the children were able to recognise and build numbers. We were challenged to use 2 packs of numicon to cover our baseboards. There was a lot of trial and error and we discovered that when we filled the boards there was always a 10 left over. The children were able to see that there are many different ways to make 10.
