Today P5 and P6 were estimating and measuring. Primary 5 were measuring objects to the nearest metre and centimetre. Primary 6 were researching distances between towns in Northern Ireland and further afield in order to gain an understanding of how big a kilometre is. We also used the trundle wheel to measure and walk 1km around our playground, it was much further than we thought.
