P4/5 have been looking at how materials change when heated and noting which changes are temporary and which are permanent. Today we investigated what happened to chocolate when heated it and of course we discovered that it melted. We decided to use the melted chocolate to make some yummy Rice Krispie buns for an end of term treat. It didn’t take long for the chocolate to harden and hence we realised that heating chocolate was a temporary change. We had lots of fun carrying out our investigation, look at all those gorgeous smiles in our pictures.
