Today, P4/5 enjoyed a cookery demonstration from the LMC (Livestock and Meat Commission for N.I). We learned about how important it is to have a balanced diet and how it is really good to support local farmers and people selling local produce.
The lady demonstrated how to cook 'Spicy Beef Noodles' from scratch. She explained how to tell when the meat is fully cooked and what order we should add the vegetables and spices in. Finally, we got to taste the delicious dish. Yummy!! (*The recipe is in the 'Beef and Lamb are Good For You!' booklet that the children have taken home today.)
