We have had a great time this week using recipes to learn about ratio and proportion. The children had to use what they had learned to decide the quantity of ingredients needed to make 30 buns. We also had the opportunity to taste cacao beans, as part of our rainforest topic - we had a mixed reaction to the flavour!
