Today in P1/2 we were testing out mathematical statements or conjectures to see if they were actually true. Mrs McGrath gave P1 and 2 two different conjectures to explore related to a box of dominoes. P1’s problem involved them using their knowledge of more and less and adding totals. P2 also had to use their knowledge of odd and even numbers. We worked in pairs to decide whether the conjecture was true.
