ESB Science Blast
Some of our P6/7 travelled to the ESB Science Blast in Belfast today to present their science experiment on, ‘What materials birds prefer for building their nests.’ The children worked extremely hard to design and build bird material nesting boxes and have been recording how much of each material has been taken by birds for nesting over the course of two months. The experiment was led by the children and helped them to think critically and reflect upon the findings of their experiment, the judges were very complimentary about how the project had been carried out and presented and we were awarded a lovely trophy for our hard work. We loved the exhibition and got to try lots of new things including using VR headsets.
