Thank you to Julie from Dogs’ Trust who came to visit our school. Julie taught us 5 top tips for keeping safe around dogs.
1. When dogs are eating or drinking, give them space.
2. When dogs are sleeping or resting, we should give them space.
3. Dogs don’t understand hugs or kisses. They prefer strokes and snuggles.
4. If a dog has something they shouldn’t have tell a grown-up.
5. When we are around dogs, we should be calm and quiet.
