What a fantastic day we had at Carrickfergus Castle with the P5 class from St. Bronagh's Primary School. Both schools are learning about Castles and will be using this as our focus for shared classes this term. To further our existing knowledge we visited the largest castle in Northern Ireland - Carrickfergus. Here we got to see many of the defence features and weapons which we are learning about in school. We even got to dress up as Kings, queens and knights. It was a fun filled, informative day from start to finish.
