Biodiversity with P1-3
P1,2 and 3 have been very busy keeping our ever changing garden in tip top condition. All the children in the school planted seeds before Easter and have been nurturing them since. This week we planted over 200 plants in our garden. The children learned that some plants climb and some grow to different heights. This was important when planting out in our raised beds.
We have also created our own weather station with a Stevenson screen providing accurate weather temperatures and a rain gauge recording the rain levels.
Well done to all the children who have learned so much about our biodiversity Eco topic this year. We will definitely have some rich compost to use at the beginning of next year for our Autumn planting.
