Beesafe event for P7

The children in primary 7 enjoyed the BeeSafe workshops in Newry today. We learned about different ways to keep safe at home and on the roads. The workshops taught us about:
Fire safety - use the acronym STOP to keep safe (smoke alarms; test alarms ; check for obvious dangers; plan pathway to safety)
Home safety - how to keep safe at home and prevent falls, poisoning and burns
Food and well-being - types of food we eat to help keep us healthy and well
Take 5 steps to well-being - Connect, Be active, Keep learning, Take notice, Give
PSNI - internet safety
Translink, Road safety - how to keep safe on the roads, as a pedestrian and on a bus.
