Today Mrs Newell's class travelled to Bagenal's castle where we were trained to be archaeologists. The children looked for clues that buildings were older, they made their own clay pots and they carried out an archaeological dig to find hidden artefacts. They then used these clues to identify which period their items belonged to. A great day was had by all.
