Today the primary three and four children were very excited as they were going on a trip to Slieve Gullion Forest Park just outside Newry. They had a great time exploring the fairy kingdom and walking through the Giant's Lair. Everyone enjoyed the fantastic play park and fast zip line, even Miss Skillen! The children found lots of different animals and trees and even managed to spot two red squirrels just as we arrived at the park. Some of our eco council members enjoyed talking the council workers who run the park, asking lots of questions about its upkeep. All the children had a lovely time exploring the forest park and its many different habitats.
